St Barths-A Taste of France in the Caribbean

Saint Barthelemy, a French-speaking Caribbean island known as St.Barts, is known for its white-sand beaches and designer shops. The capital, Gustavia, encircling a yacht-filled harbor, has high-end restuarants and historical attractions like the Wall House, whose exhibits highlight the island’s Swedish Colonial era. Perched above town is 17th-century Fort Karl, looking out over popular Shell Beach.
I am personally familiar with all Islands and most Resorts I suggest in my newsletters.
“Been There – Got the Tee-shirt!” ~ Molly
The most exciting landing on a Caribbean Island I’ve ever experienced takes place on St Barts with Windward Air from the Sint Maarten Airport. Heading towards St Barts, the plane slips through a notch in the hills with a steep decent to the airport runway below.
